Ya, that seems to be a pretty good price. When you do put new springs in make sure you replace your shocks too, it will really make a difference in ride quality and how your car will handle. Thats money well spent. Also, if you're going to really drop it (more than 1.8") make sure you're willing to spend the extra $ and get a camber kit too.. Give the springs some time to settle, then go and get an alignment so you don't wear through tires every 3 months! I did that last summer and now I realize its no fun to need new tires because I'm too cheap to buy a camber kit..

Eric, buy the ground controls, buy some tockio adjustable shocks, and get like a good rear sway bar, thats a pretty hot race setup that is street friendly as well. You'll be able to cook thru bends if you get all of that set up right, if you want more info you know were to find me

Thanks guys. Im only going to drop it about an inch or less for everyday driving, at shows Ill drop it more but will not be driving around like that. Would a camber kit still be worth it? The reason why I cannot drop it more then an inch for everyday is because I have a WW kit which makes it lower. then my driveway is extreamly steep and Ill never get back up it!
Anymore info will be helpful

How about KBY AGX's? I can get them from JC whitney for less than 350 shipped. I have heard good and not so good things about these shocks.

You can always get bigger wheels for show when you come across some extra money - that's really the only way to go for show and fill your fender gap. Truthfully, being serious here, this is something a lot of people miss - these guys aren't slam lowered, just running 17's with and 18's with a slightly larger profile.
As far as a camber kit, 1.7 inches lowered is the limit to liveable tires and a functional suspension. After that you will end up with the car undecisive as to which direction it wants when you hit ruts, extremely awesome cornering, but the tires wear out even faster the quicker you take them, and ET's will be slower due to camber problems - that's a big drag concern.
But if you go past 1.7 inches you need a camber kit - and it can only correct for .5" worth of lowering - so a maixmum of 2.2" lowering at that. This is with an upper-arm adjustable camber kit. I beleive Ryan motorsports makes an adjustable lower arm. And for some reason I want to say that from the looks of it - you can push the suspension out a good inch in or out...I need to check into this. I was also told at one point in time that a 2.5 inch or lower (and I know 3 inch for certain) would require you to roll the fender lip for the wheel to clear inside - otherwise you'll need overfenders - sepcailly if your running a high offset or the rim width is 8" or larger. I'll be getting better on the specifics when I get around to suspensions - actually doing the stuff myself and learning...but this is what I've heard.
I also have a set of coilovers...they go onto my illumina's that have a perch already there for them. The only thing that I don't like is trying to figure out is how many threads I've raised it...that and are they all equally lowered? Front and back still are a little off back sits about .25" taller...but the CRX has been sitting since last Fall - not worried.
I need to get a garage, torch, welding outfit, and some scrap metal and make myself a suspension setup....haha! That would be the life!
